Hello and welcome to Geometry or Algebra!  My name is Ms. Garroutte and this will be my third year at  Deer Creek High School.  I graduated from UCO with a BS in math education.  I am a math nerd at heart, but I also love to read, play sports, and draw.  I am also a member of Vintage Church in Edmond where I help with the youth group.

 I realize that math is not something that every student enjoys, but I believe that every student has the potential to learn and improve his/her math skills.  Not only is math vital to many occupations, but the logic and endurance that comes with learning math is essential to life.  I do not expect all students to be math geniuses, but I do expect effort and a great attitude!
